Unfortunately, the three days we scheduled in DC were part of a record breaking heat wave so the weather was absolutely miserable. It was so hot and humid that it just sucked the life right out of us. Luckily museums are air-conditioned, even if you have sweat out a gallon and your feet really hurt.

I'm including the Holocaust Museum as part of the ...And Beyond. I didn't take any pictures there, but it was an incredibly powerful place. We were lucky to get tickets for the 5:00 tour so we were a little bit rushed - I could've spent all day there.
